Charise Frazier is a writer, journalist, and multimedia artist based in Brooklyn, New York.

Born in New York City and raised in West Covina, California, her writings explore the intersectionality of her lived experience: Black and female.

Her work has appeared in Business Insider, NewsOne, MadameNoire, HelloBeautiful, Essence, and Ebony. Over her career, she has also worked in various newsrooms, including CNN and MSNBC.

When she’s not writing, you can find her in The Ville making soaps, at the latest gallery exhibit, palancing in the streets, or reading in Prospect Park.
